Kenneth Kircher, DO, FAOCD

Dr. Kircher received his medical degree from the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine in 1997. He served as Chief Resident and earned board certification in Dermatology in 2003. As a longtime resident of the Kingston area, Dr. Kircher has been recognized as an outstanding teacher, lecturer and clinician.

Aaron Haim Warshawsky, MD

Dr. Warshawsky received his medical degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine in 1990. He served as Chief Resident at Mt. Sinai Hospital and earned board certification in Dermatology in 1994. Dr. Warshawsky has a long list of impressive credentials as an accomplished medical professional, instructor, and presenter.

Lia Basso, RPA-C

Lia joined the Advanced Dermatology team in 2017. An NCCPA board certified physician assistant, she graduated from Albany Medical College’s Physician Assistant Program in 2017. Lia is a fellow of the American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA) and the New York State Society of Physician Assistants (NYSSPA). In 2018, the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants awarded her Diplomate status. Lia is a lifelong resident of Newburgh, and enjoys running, rooting for her favorite sports teams, and spending time with her dogs and family.

Kurt Schroeder, RPA-C

 

Kurt joined the Advanced Dermatology team in 2008. A native of Fishkill, New York, Kurt graduated from Marist College Cum Laude in 2005 with a Bachelor of Science in Biology, and graduated from the Hofstra University Physician Assistant Studies Program Magna Cum Laude in 2007. Kurt specializes in Dermatology, and was awarded Diplomate status by the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants (SDPA) in 2011. Kurt is also a Fellow of the American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA), New York State Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants (NYSSPA), and the National Commission on Certification for Physician Assistants (NCCPA).

Judith Schachte, RPA-C

Judi joined Advanced Dermatology in 2015. She has been a practicing Physician Assistant in the Ulster and Dutchess County areas since 2002. Judi graduated from Quinnipiac College Physician Assistant program with her Master's Degree in 1999. She continued her training at the Norwalk/Yale Physician Assistant Surgical Residency graduating in 2000 where she was recognized as the top surgical resident. Judi is a fellow of the American Academy of Physician Assistant (AAPA), New York State Society of Physician Assistants (NYSSPA) and the NCCPA. Judi was awarded Diplomate status by the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants (SDPA) in 2011. She resides in Dutchess County with her husband and two Australian Shepherds. She enjoys being outdoors and spending time with her family.

Amanda O'Connell, RPA-C

Amanda joined Advanced Dermatology in 2022, coming to us with 5 years of experience on a multi-subspecialty surgical service, including surgical oncology, plastic surgery, oral and maxillofacial surgery. Amanda received her B.S. Degree from SUNY Albany and her Master of Medical Science from Arcadia University where she was the recipient of the Nathaniel Alston Student Scholarship Award. In her personal time Amanda enjoys trail running, hiking and traveling, and officially became an ultrathonner by completing her first 30 mile trail ultra-marathon. Her goal is to be not only a health care provider but an example of health in the community. Amanda has volunteered in Ecuador, Nicaragua and Costa Rica.

George P. Marchacos, RPA-C

George joined the Advanced Dermatology team in 2022. He graduated Cum Laude from the University of Massachusetts with a B.S. in Biology. He then received his M.S. in Physician Assistant Studies from Albany Medical College, where he received the Dean’s Award for research presentation. George is a Fellow of the American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA), the New York State Society of Physician Assistants (NYSSPA), and the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants (SDPA), where he was awarded Diplomat status in 2022.

Carly Esteves, NP

Carly received her BS in Nursing from Stony Brook University in 2006, and her MS as a Nurse Practitioner in 2013 from the University of Maryland in Baltimore. She specialized as an Acute and Critical Care Provider until joining Advanced Dermatology in 2023. Prior to that Carly served in the United States Army and Army Reserves reaching the rank of Captain. With her impressive work history, education, and certifications, we're delighted to welcome Carly to the Advanced Dermatology team!

Katie Banks - Office Manager

Katie has been working in the healthcare field since 2006 and joined Advanced Dermatology in 2011 as Dr. Kircher's Medical Assistant. She then worked in the practice as a Surgical Assistant and Clinical Coordinator before being promoted to Office Manager in 2019. Katie enjoys hiking, volleyball, softball and every moment spent with her children Michael & Maelynn...even the chaotic ones!
